Love Sniper Retention Curation #514

image.png

Hello everyone!

This is the Lovesniper Retention curation initiative aiming to retain those quality content creators after making their introduction posts. It was observed that after newbies made their introduction posts, their succeeding posts are often ignored. This initiative will hopefully encourage the newbies to continue posting quality content and interact with anyone in the community. As compilation posts are also done, this will highlight the newbies and will give the community an idea which newbie to look out for.

OCD's Lovesniper team will follow everyone who made an introduction post and @lovesniper's feed will be the place to scour those quality content from new authors. Curators will check all the posts in the feed to find under-rewarded posts and recommend them for curation.

Here the recommended posts for OCD upvote for this batch of love sniper retention curation:

This activity was carried out with the purpose of beautifying women and men in an integral way and to give an incentive to the workers that day by day make an effort to get ahead to reach the desired objectives; and in this way they were attended with a social welfare day, where those who attended were pampered together with the services team, and it ended in a successful way, thanking those who organized and supported to carry out the activity.

El médico de las sombrillas (es/en)

Memories of my grandmother come to mind when I saw her arrive at my house, back in Barbacoa, in the middle of the morning, with a towel over her shoulders and a piece of an axe rope over her head to protect herself from the sun. Times were hard and the luxury of owning an umbrella was forbidden to the most humble.

In my neighborhood, as far as I remember, only a lady who came from Havana to visit the family of the owner of the Vega used an umbrella. I was always struck by the architecture of this artifact that protected from the water and the sun. On my son's first vacation trip from Venezuela, he brought us three umbrellas of the same model, one for his mother, one for his brother and mine, which is the only one that is still "alive", the other two were lost.

On a certain occasion under a heavy downpour the wire that joins the rods broke and it was out of "combat", at that stage I had no idea how to fix it, so I went to an old man who fixes them there in the Hermano Cruz neighborhood. This mechanic turned out to be very affable and talkative, while he was fixing the umbrella, I was looking for a solution in case one day I found myself in such a situation.

Later I took him some of my friends' umbrellas and we became good friends. I learned the trade of repairing umbrellas to such an extent that when I retired, I decided to dedicate myself to this trade, to compensate for my low retirement, which at the price of the current products has become nothing.

I must confess that I will never be able to surpass that noble old m

My weekend experience in the city.

Early Saturday morning I woke up with the task of looking for honey, which is part of the ingredients I use for my candies. I set out on my way to the bus stop to take the P10 bus at the bus stop around 7:30 am in the municipality Arroyo Naranjo which is where I live. I was heading to another municipality called La Lisa which is an hour away, on the way I started to relax with the view of the landscape where curiously I initially noticed the amount of wooded areas that exist in the surroundings, with its green splendor, which helps to relax the view and clear the mind.

THAT JOB THAT MAKES ME CRINGE

Several years ago, as a young graduate searching for a job, you know how difficult it is to land your dream job in Nigeria. After searching to no avail, I decided to go with any job to pay my bills. I had the opportunity to work as a marketer in a production company. Then it wasn't as easy as now when we have digital marketers. I didn't know much about the job, it was explained as something easy. I just thought it would be a great way to enhance my career and pay my bills.

¡Añoranza!

"I have more than the leopard, because I have a good friend"...and under Marti's maxim I flow, I live, I free myself and I dream, because that is how my friends are. That they are not perfect, I have that very clear, but from their lights and shadows, in rare combination, they are imperfectly perfect, and make my days, various adventures that enrich my personal growth and in feedback we are complementing each other. (My tongue is already tangled 😅)

Momento inesperado/ unexpected moment

Good evening Tattoo World community, I hope everyone is feeling very well. Today I want to share an experience, let's say something out of the ordinary, in which I was forced to work a little under pressure due to the area that I would have to tattoo. .

Estofado de Pollo a mi estilo / Chicken stew my style

I always say that we are a reflection of the people who formed our environment during our childhood and youth, even when it comes to our gastronomic tastes. Well, I tell you that since I was a child I listened to and observed my dad in his habits, his attitudes, his personality, and to a certain extent, I adopted many of my culinary likes and dislikes from him. My dad didn't like "white rice" and whenever it was his turn to eat it, he would eat it but it had to have some sauce to go with it. In that sense, we are alike. That is why, today, I want to share with you one of the recipes that I like to make for my family, my stewed chicken with white rice and fried plantain, I hope you enjoy it.

Unplanned visit to Bellas Artes [ENG&ESP]

From the university we took the subway till Bellas Artes, part of the center of the city, there we got out of the subway station and for our surprise it was heavy raining! The streets were flooding and seemed that the water was going to enter to the station. As it was raining so much we couldn't get to the Museums Plaza and so go to the Science Museum, we then decided to go to the art gallery in front of us as any other interesting place was far from us.

HAPPY TUMMY, HAPPY LIFE: A taste of unli-rice and unli-soup sizzlers in a cute pan (kawali).

Sizzling Kawali by Cafe Feliza is a place to visit if you are like me who loves sizzlers. They serve different delicious sizzling foods that are served in a unique way rather than a usual sizzling pan. "Kawali" is a local term for a pan in my country. It is round in shape that has a handle and usually used to fry foods. The owner of this restaurant is just very creative to use "kawali" as their sizzling pan. Nevertheless, it is indeed a success for him because the market bought and loved his idea.

Please help us welcome our newbies! Hopefully, they will have an awesome stay in the platform and they will be here for long. To the featured newbies, your Hive and OCD family welcome you with open arms! Have a blast!
