My husband comes home around 8 PM, we have dinner, talk, sometimes watch a movie or an interesting video on YouTube together, but the night goes by quickly and the next day the routine repeats. While I consider it a blessing to work from home and understand the problems that come with working in a company and having to commute every day, for example, as well as dealing with annoying bosses, I miss having contact with other people, conversing, going out even if it's just to visit another neighborhood, seeing the colors of the day, and so on. I have no doubt that if this were to become a routine, I would also get tired, but I'm mentioning how things work for me so that you understand that spending too much time at home is something that disturbs me. I already spend the day without interacting with other adults, without hearing funny things someone is telling me, without being able to simply hear another person's voice in person. So any different activity, no matter what it is, already makes me feel better.

Some people might say I'm lonely as I seldom go out with a group of friends, and I am on my own most of the time. However, going out with them won't give me genuine happiness, but dismay. So I will rather be alone than be with non-genuine people.
I have real friends in my country. And thinking about the last bonding with them, it was the night before I embarked on a new journey to Manila and abroad. Unfortunately, I have no decent photos to share here. I just couldn't find one. It was probably on my old phone.
When I worked here abroad, I found some friends. They were my travel buddies back in the day. We used to visit beautiful places on holidays. They were my company during Christmas and other special holidays. They were those who inspired me to travel around Hong Kong.

Many times we get so caught up in work and our responsibilities that we forget the importance of going out with our friends, partner or family to get us out of that routine and be happy without so much weight on our shoulders. And I take it personally, because I belong to that lot of people who get obsessed with work and neglect themselves or forget that living life is also about relaxing and hanging out with friends. That's why this past weekend I told my friends and my boyfriend to go together to the "King of Falafel", to eat and have a different kind of time. They all signed up and we all agreed to walk there as the place is close to the urbanisation.

It's not that I don't enjoy Foodie Moments with my girlfriends, I really love them, but maybe for many this is not such a fun thing because if we focus on something really fun I think we will have to go back much further in time, even before the pandemic started. It was at the end of 2019 that I had the last outing with friends to do something I really enjoyed: climbing. On that occasion we went to the very well known Cuevas del Indio for rock climbing and coincidentally we went because one of our friends had a birthday, so the plan was to go early in the morning to climb and then go to this friend's house to prepare a special lunch and his due birthday cake. That is the last fun memory I have doing an activity I like in the company of friends because after that the pandemic came and the lifestyle of many changed.
