The Bao Son Paradise Park is an amusement park that first opened its doors to the general public in September 2008. This impressive park cost $50 million to build and has proved to be a popular attraction.
The park covers 50 acres and is divided into 4 main areas. These are:
The traditional craft villages of Viet Nam
This area houses replicas of the 15 most well-known craft villages of the country. It includes Phu Lang pottery village and Van Phuc silk village. There are also villages that specialise in products like gemstone-inlaid pictures, bamboo and rattan work.
A replica of the ancient quarters of Hanoi
This area features the daily activities of the people of Hanoi at the start of the 20 century. There are over 20 old-style shop houses with tiled roofs. Each shop shows various products like clothing, watches, or art work.
An eco-tourism area
This is the largest area of the park and includes the ocean world aquarium with more than 2,000 species of fish from around the world. These include sharks and ray vand much more. The eco-tourism area also houses a royal garden with approximately 500 varieties of rare and precious orchids. There is also a museum containing a large collection of butterflies and flowers.

A area that offers cuisine from throughout the country
The food area has over 30 restaurants selling food from home and abroad, including traditional specialties from around Vietnam like: pho, cha ca Hanoi (Hanoi-style grilled fish) and banh tom (crisp shrimp pastry).
