Hi I'm Danny! I'm travelling around the world! Follow my posts.

We arrived from Livingstone after crossing the bridge over the Zambezi river. It was the weirdest border crossing I've ever done, at immigration there are people bungee jumping in no mans land!
The waterfall is known as "The Smoke That Thunders" and once you arrive here you can see why. While crossing the bridge you can barely see where you are going because of the mist coming off of the falls.
Seeing the falls for the first time was a great moment as it's one of the natural wonders of the world. There are other famous waterfalls on my bucket list like Iguazu Falls that I hope to visit in the future.
It's hard to comprehend the power of the waterfall with the constant noise roaring. To give you an idea of the scale - Victoria Falls is twice the height of Niagara falls.

These pictures were taken in the dry season and incredibly the volume of the water here is 10 times lower than when the rains start to fall.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left there was a permanent rainbow over the falls.
