Jamaaladeen Tacuma (born 1956) - Jazz bassist

Tacuma is one of my favorite bassists and I was able to experience him live many times. With his wit and breathtaking tempos in the funky jazz style to avant-garde, he is a musician who is just fun. We hear first a concert with many of his hits, then a wild world music with Korean guest musicians, and then more excerpts with different occupations.

Tacuma ist einer meiner Lieblingsbassisten, den ich sehr oft live erleben konnte. Mit seinem Witz und atemberaubenden Tempi in bester Funk-Jazz Manier bis hin zu Avantgarde ist er ein Musiker der einfach nur Spaß macht. Wir hören zuerst ein Konzert mit vielen seiner Hits, dann eine wilde Weltmusik mit Koreanischen Gastmusikern, und dann noch weitere Ausschnitte mit verschiedenen Besetzungen.
